BIG PICTURE:

We are looking for a motivated and detail oriented Janitorial Porter/Custodian to ensure the cleanliness of our studios. The goal is to keep all buildings clean, in orderly condition, and sanitized for not only our visitors but for our staff as well. This includes cleaning all designated areas, offices, production sets, and the surrounding areas around both of our buildings. Other common tasks include providing basic floor care such as vacuuming, daily carpet spotting, sweeping, mopping and performing maintenance duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have a good sense of cleanliness and a keen eye for organization. 

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

• Maintaining the overall cleanliness of designated buildings (dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom etc.)
• Ensuring restrooms including floors, walls, fixtures, mirrors, and toilets are clean and thoroughly disinfected 
• Stocking restrooms with sanitary products, cleaning storage areas,and carts with needed supplies
• Picking up trash on the property and in common areas, which includes but is not limited to, driveways, parking lots, curbs, trash receptacles areas, exterior hallways, sets, break rooms, and any other public areas
• Arranging furniture and equipment for special events or meetings ensuring all is returned to its original location 
• Utilizing a power blowers and pressure washers to clean breezeways, steps, sidewalks, and any other common areas
• Performing other tasks as may be required by the job and/or assigned by the supervisor

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• One year of experience as a janitor, housekeeper, or similar cleaning role
• Knowledge of various cleaning equipment and best practices
• Ability to follow all safety and personnel rules, policies, and regulations
• Ability to lift items up to 20 lbs., carrying, bending, and pulling 
• Strong attention to detail with clear communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and independent decision-making

WHO OVERSEES YOU:

The Janitorial Porter will report directly to the Facilities Manager

WHO YOU OVERSEE:

Currently, the Janitorial Porter has no personnel reporting directly to him or her

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

All the action takes place at our BRAND NEW studio in Burbank, CA

WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:
